Notes on Washington Apple Country course:

You will be staying in private properties, boutique bed and breakfasts, able to feature regional specialties. Lodging location generally will be the same place each evening for the entire program. Most walking will be on flat, or gentle inclines for the most part with some stairs to climb. Farm visits will vary from one location to another. Please inform us of any special needs you may have so we can determine if this trip is appropriate for you. We will try to meet your needs to the best of our ability.

There are 300 days of sunshine and temperatures range from 60-100 degrees from May to September. Mostly sunny and warm, very dry air, with occasional rain.

December will generally include snow, though never guaranteed! Appropriate shoes and jacket are recommended.

General good physical condition and a flexible and adventurous travel mentality are good to plan on.

If you are vegetarian please let us know before the program. If you have had recent surgery or are in a compromised physical state that could affect the regular activities of the group in any way, please let us know. We will try to accommodate you if possible.

Discover Heirloom Cuisine is especially interested in your well being. If you have a special need, please let us know in advance. If a problem arises, please communicate it to us with patience and respect and we will do everything in our power to make it right for you.
