Since 1998, Marcia Green has been dedicated to celebrating agriculture through research, written articles, videos, photography, travel, & co-coordinating study events. A sense of history and future of agriculture regions will immerge, offering small group opportunities to share an authentic farm and orchard experience emphasizing sustainable farming, family farm connection, & lifestyle cuisine, provides a connection to personal substance through natural foods.

While traveling the roads definitely less traveled, back roads and behind the scenes, stepping in the footsteps of the farmers, threading the past into the future. The guest lists of 1000's have been privileged to discover one season to the next, in the Apple Capital of the World.

Entrepreneur, manager/owner, Marcia Green developed Apple Country Tours in 1999; Development board member and served 3 years for Cascade Foothills Farmland Association; Graduate of Ag-Forestry Leadership, class 27 in 2006; Advisory Board for Culinary Arts program of Wenatchee, WA.

She promotes beauty and a creative atmosphere through travel explorations, events, and her own tourist destination. In 2004 she became co-owner of Cashmere Cider Mill where she developed an exclusive wine alternative, Lady Blush gourmet cider blends, a true beverage of distinction. The Cashmere Cider Mill opened its tasting room for the first time May 2006 to the public, retail sales and production onsite with online ordering available.

Most recently developing partner and personal travel guide for Discover Heirloom Cuisine in 2008, online 2009 www.discoverheirloomcuisine.com. She has carefully hand selected farm locations, collaborative guest chefs, menus, specialty ingredients, and extensive travel research while overseeing all program aspects. Plans include extending Discover Heirloom Cuisine international programs in 2010.

She brings passion to a topic from our everyday lives, providing personal opportunity to re-connect with the family farm from all walks of life, best understood through food sources and producers beyond the grocery store. She has lived the "Slow Food" motto, her agriculture tourism specialty making the difference with a lifelong benefit to all who have participated in farm lifestyle discovery programs.

Otherwise known as Lady Blush, Marcia Green radiates the essence and spirit with a "zest for life" through all her passions and inspiring efforts given to celebrating agriculture. Wife & mother of 4 children, having provided 20 years of home school, loves everything about local foods, fruits, flowers, and herbs, using them in her personal kitchen and developing recipes for the Lady Blush Collection, as a way of life.

Her love of travel while researching heirloom farming, farm to table, and agriculture practices have led her to Spain, Ukraine, Canada, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Mexico, San Juan Islands, and United States destinations. Join her, and you also will find the very soul of regional cuisine, to know its origins from field to table, relationships strengthened not only to food, but to ones self, the land and between cultures. She looks forward to sharing her ongoing journey with enthusiasm, a "Slice of Life" while creating memories worth remembering.
