Wedge Mountain Winery

Raspberry or Cherry Wine.....Found at Wedge Mountain Winery in Peshastin Washington...ancient fruits found at the Rivers Bend, the sun streaming down in 80 degree weather the first of 2009. We saw massive Gravenstein trees, Jonagold, Jonathon, Golden Delicious, with branches the thickness of a human being, large nodules from years of pruning. The view from the tasting room gives direct line of site to the actual Wedge Mountain standing proud and tall covered with snow to the backdrop of emerging Royal Anne cherry blossoms. Should your adventure take you high on the mountain tops, overlooking Snowlakes, the view would be amazing as shared by Charlie & Mary Ann McKee, owners and full time keepers of the vineyard, orchard and winery.

Montmorency cherries were the ingredients from a previous Red Amber wine made on premise by hand pitting 500 lbs and creating a favorite. Stony hill vineyard adjacent to the fruit orchard provides some of their wine grapes, others coming from Prosser Washington to create the perfect blend.

Lots of wonderful fruits and berries cover their acreage along the Wenatchee River. Home to fresh raspberries, along with grapes, apples, pears, horses and dog.

Wedge Mountain Winery is open year around, signage on Hwy 2 between Cashmere & Leavenworth brings you in easily.
